NEW Aristaeus καλύτερα κομμάτια (best bits), lightly creamed

My mother always taught me not to waste my food so, rather than tip the tiny leftover bits down the sink, we've saved all the end of runs and combined them into a single taste sensation.

Our "best bits" honey is a combination of 134MGO manuka, 77MGO manuka, pohutakawa, rewarewa, kanuka, bush, Old Taupo Road (2022 & 2023), Kererua (2023), Paratu Farm (2024), Estella (2023) and clover.

The manuka, kanuka, rewarewa and bush provide a good flavour base, and the lighter, single site honeys provide some sweetness for balance.

Very possibly the second best tasting honey you'll ever try.

Harvested in February 2021 from Te Araroa in Taranaki, this one has a bit more of a traditional Manuka taste than our MGO 77.

Great for smoothies, baking and hot drinks.

Aristaeus 2020 Manuka honey MGO77

MGO 77.

Harvested in March 2020 from Pio Pio (south west of Te Kuiti), this is a milder Manuka.

Still runny in the jar as of November 2022.

Great for toast, smoothies and baking where a bit of flavour without the sweetness is called for.

A limited release honey from the Lyonmark Estate Lavender Farm in Hawke's Bay, with over 500 lavender plants.

A floral, woody flavour with a warm taste and incredibly smooth finish.

Aristaeus 2022 Esk Valley late harvest honey

Harvested in June 2022 from our site in Eskdale, just north of Napier on State Highway 5 (Napier - Taupo Road).

The bees were feeding on end of season grapes left on the vines after harvest from a vineyard bordering our apiary site.

With the texture of a good manuka honey and a caramel taste, it's cheeseboard all the way with this one - especially a good blue cheese.

This is a very limited edition, with only about 50kg in total produced from the site in 2022.
