Henrietta's story begins in the local market in the picturesque town of Queenstown where Henrietta sold her natural soaps and creams, which were loved and sought after by the locals and tourists alike.
The recipes had been handed down through generations of her family, but in 1984 she had a passion to explore the world, so she sold the recipes to a local Dunedin businessman to finance her adventures and Henrietta Soaps Limited was officially born. In 1992 another Dunedin couple purchased the business, and the products were extensively developed and sold throughout New Zealand and overseas. In 2016, Paul Larson a well-known Dunedin Pharmacist purchased Henrietta Soaps, a perfect complement to his expanding business enterprises. Paul’s vision: to continue to innovate using responsibly sourced, and sustainable ingredients producing high-quality soaps and creams.
