Candles

candles
After vowing never to make candles, we made a few for our apiculture course in 2023 and they turned out better than I anticipated. Please keep in mind that all our candles are hand poured so may contain some imperfections. In keeping with the Greek tradition, all candles are named after Greek Gods.

Rather than give the candles names that describe them - like "small round" or "pillar" - we've opted to give them Greek names in keeping with the Aristaeus theme. There were twelve principal deities in the Greek pantheon but we have more candles than that, so some of our candles have other, what we think, are cool names.

Why are beeswax candles better than paraffin or soy candles?

*No soot
*Improve indoor air quality through releasing negative ions
*They smell awesome
*Higher melting point, so emits the brightest, most warm-toned flame
*More dense, so burns slower and drips less

Made with pure beeswax. Triple refined no less.

Safety: always burn candle within sight and never leave unattended. Keep away from draughts, children and pets. Burn on a level, fireproof surface and keep away from flammable objects.

  • Beeswax melts
